The best roofingsoftware and CRMsfor 2026.

Seven roofing software options, what they actually cost on their own pricing pages, and which one fits a two-person repair crew, a growing reroof company or a storm restoration shop.

The best roofing software depends on the kind of roofing you do. For small residential roofers who lose work to missed calls and slow quotes, Contruva puts call answering, quoting, scheduling and payments in one app with no per-seat pricing. For insurance restoration companies with sales reps and supplements to track, AccuLynx and JobNimbus are the roofing CRMs built for that. Roofr and RoofSnap lead on measurement reports, Jobber is a strong general field service app, and Buildertrend suits roofers who also run larger building projects.

Below is what each one does well, where it falls short for roofers, and what it costs. Every price was checked on the company’s own pricing page in November 2026. Where a company doesn’t publish prices, we say so instead of guessing.

What does a roofing company need from software?

Roofing isn’t plumbing with ladders. The jobs are big, the season is short, the weather moves your schedule every week, and a lot of the work starts after a storm. Before you compare feature lists, check the software against the way a roof actually gets sold and built.

Lead
Answer the storm call.

After hail or high wind, the phone rings all day while you’re on a roof. Whoever calls back first usually books the inspection. Missed calls are lost jobs.

Inspect
Photos and measurements.

Someone climbs, takes photos of the damage, and measures by hand, by drone or from an aerial report. Those numbers drive the quote.

Quote
Price by the square.

Tear-off per layer, shingles per square, ice and water shield, drip edge, ridge vent, flashings, and a unit price for rotten decking. Good, better, best options win more upgrades.

Sign
Deposit before materials.

The homeowner signs on their phone and pays a deposit, so you aren’t fronting shingles. Insurance jobs wait on the adjuster and the scope.

Build
Schedule around rain.

Materials drop, the forecast changes, and the tear-off moves to the next dry day. The crew and the homeowner both need to know.

Close
Invoice and review.

Final photos, the invoice from the driveway, card payment, and a review request while the homeowner is happy.

Most roofers need every step covered. Where the tools differ is which steps they treat as the centre. AccuLynx and JobNimbus are built around the sales pipeline and insurance paperwork. Roofr and RoofSnap start from the measurement. Contruva and Jobber start from the customer conversation and the job. Pick the tool whose centre matches where your business leaks money today.

Quick test

Take your last finished reroof and rebuild it in each free trial: the lead, the quote with your real per-square rates, the deposit, a rain-day reschedule and the final invoice. Our guide on how to write a roofing estimate has a line-by-line template, and the free roofing calculator turns a footprint into squares.

1. Contruva

Who it suits: owner-operators and small to mid-size residential roofing crews that do retail reroofs and repairs, and want the phone answered, quotes out the same day and payments collected without five separate apps.

Price: one plan with everything included and no per-seat pricing, so adding a sales rep, an office manager and three crew leads doesn’t change the bill. There’s a 7-day free trial with no credit card. See Contruva pricing for the current price in your currency.

The AI receptionist picks up in your company name, asks about the leak or the damage, and books the inspection into a real open slot, day or night. Calls, texts, email, website chat and Facebook or Instagram messages all land in one inbox. Quotes are built from your price book with per-square lines, options, photos and e-signature, and the homeowner can pay the deposit by card in the same link. The drag-and-drop calendar moves a rained-out tear-off in one move, and the crew app handles clock-in, checklists, photos and daily logs. Contruva also builds your website, adds SEO pages every week and sends review requests after the job. There’s more detail on our roofing software page.

Where it falls short for some roofers: Contruva doesn’t order aerial or drone measurement reports, and it doesn’t connect to insurers’ estimating systems. It has no supplement tracking or rep commission tools, no multi-location setup and no public API, and it isn’t accounting software. Claim-heavy storm restoration companies with a sales team are better served by AccuLynx or JobNimbus.

  • ✓ Call answering, inbox, quotes, scheduling, payments and marketing in one plan
  • ✓ No per-seat pricing, so the whole crew is on it
  • ✓ No Contruva fee on top of standard Stripe card processing
  • ✕ No measurement report ordering
  • ✕ No insurance supplement or commission tracking
  • ✕ Not accounting software

2. AccuLynx

Who it suits: roofing companies with sales reps, a production manager and a lot of insurance work.

Price: not published. AccuLynx offers two plans, Pro and Elite, and sends you to sales for a custom quote. Its plan page mentions a monthly subscription option with no contract.

AccuLynx is built only for roofing and exterior contractors, and it shows. Both plans include aerial measurement ordering, supplier direct ordering, estimates and contracts, a leads CRM, job costing and profit forecasting. The Elite plan adds the tools a storm restoration shop leans on: supplement tracking, mortgage check tracking, permit tracking, a production calendar, sales pipeline and closing-rate reports, commissions, and multiple company locations. Payments, a customer portal, texting and the mobile crew app are listed as add-on tools.

  • ✓ Built around the roofing sales and insurance workflow
  • ✓ Measurement and supplier ordering inside the app
  • ✕ No published pricing
  • ✕ Key restoration tools such as supplements and commissions sit on Elite
  • ✕ Payments and texting are add-ons

3. JobNimbus

Who it suits: roofing and exterior companies that want a customizable CRM with job boards and automations.

Price: not published. JobNimbus shows four plans, Essentials (up to 3 users), Pro (up to 10), Premium (up to 19) and Enterprise (20+), all marked “Request pricing”. Its FAQ says the price depends on the plan, the number of users and add-ons, with monthly or annual agreements.

Every plan includes unlimited contacts, estimates, invoices, payments, financing, a mobile app, QuickBooks and API access. The limits sit on boards, automations and integrations: Essentials gets 3 project boards, 10 active automations and 2 integrations, while Premium gets unlimited boards and integrations and 100 automations. A Marketing Bundle and a Communications Bundle are separate add-ons.

  • ✓ Flexible boards for tracking every roof from lead to paid
  • ✓ API and QuickBooks on every plan
  • ✕ No published pricing
  • ✕ Automations and integrations capped on lower plans
  • ✕ Marketing and communications cost extra

4. Roofr

Who it suits: retail roofers who quote from a measurement report and want proposals and payments built on top of it.

Price: in USD with unlimited users on every plan. Starter is $0 a month with pay-per-report measurements ($19) and trial-only proposals. Essentials is listed at $249 a month billed monthly and adds unlimited proposals, invoices, e-signatures and card and ACH payments. Scale is $349 a month billed monthly (or $299 billed yearly) and adds crew management, job costing and QuickBooks. Measurement reports are $13 each on paid plans. The Instant Estimator ($149 a month), AI Receptionist ($99) and Roofr Sites ($99) are add-ons. Some prices differed between sections of the page when we checked, so confirm with Roofr.

  • ✓ Unlimited users on every plan
  • ✓ Measurement reports feed straight into proposals
  • ✕ Crew management, job costing and QuickBooks need Scale
  • ✕ Call answering and websites are paid add-ons
  • ✕ Billed in USD

5. RoofSnap

Who it suits: estimators and small sales teams whose day revolves around measuring roofs and building quotes fast.

Price: pay-as-you-go measurement reports start at $13 per order with no subscription. The monthly subscription starts at $105 per user per month, and the annual subscription runs from $78 per user (2 to 4 users) down to $52 per user (10+ users). Subscribers get cheaper reports, draw-it-yourself measuring, good-better-best estimates, material ordering, deposits and payments, and commission tracking. Prices appear to be USD.

  • ✓ Fast measurements and quick good-better-best estimates
  • ✓ Pay-as-you-go option for occasional reports
  • ✕ Per-user fees
  • ✕ Not a full job management, scheduling or call answering system
  • ✕ Best value needs an annual commitment

6. Jobber

Who it suits: repair-heavy roofers and companies that also do gutters, siding or general exterior work, who want a mature field service app.

Price: all prices are in USD. Core is $49 a month for one user with no commitment. Connect starts at $139 for one user, Grow at $199 and Plus at $499 for five users, with lower rates on a one-year commitment or annual billing. Extra users are $29 a month each, and AI Receptionist ($29), Pipeline ($49) and Marketing Suite ($99) are add-ons. We compare it in more depth in our Jobber alternatives guide.

  • ✓ Polished scheduling, quoting and invoicing
  • ✓ Clear published pricing
  • ✕ Not built for roofing: no measurements or insurance tools
  • ✕ Users and add-ons push the price up
  • ✕ Billed in USD

7. Buildertrend

Who it suits: roofing companies that also run additions, renovations or new builds and need schedules, budgets and client portals for long projects.

Price: not published. Buildertrend’s FAQ says pricing is personalized for each business, based on builder type, revenue and needs. Its pricing page blocked our automated check, so ask for the full quote, including onboarding, in writing.

  • ✓ Strong project management for long, multi-trade jobs
  • ✓ Client portal and budgets
  • ✕ No published pricing
  • ✕ More than a roofing crew doing one- or two-day reroofs needs

How much does roofing software cost?

Published prices for the tools above run from free (Roofr Starter) to several hundred US dollars a month, and three of the seven don’t publish prices at all. The sticker price is rarely what you pay. Here’s how to work out the real number.

Worked example

A roofing company with one owner, one sales rep, an office manager and three crew leads has six people who need logins. On Jobber Connect, that’s the 10-user tier at $299 USD a month billed month to month, plus $29 for AI Receptionist and $99 for Marketing Suite: $427 USD a month. On RoofSnap’s annual plan at $61 per user (5 to 9 users), it’s $366 USD a month before any measurement reports. Check each tier yourself, because the add-ons you need change the answer.

1
Count everyone.

Owner, reps, office, crew leads and seasonal help. Per-user pricing matters more in roofing than most trades.

2
Price the add-ons.

Call answering, texting, payments, marketing, websites and measurement reports per job.

3
Check the contract.

Monthly or annual, and what happens to your data if you leave.

4
Run a real job.

Rebuild your last reroof in the trial before you sign anything.

Canadian roofers should also note the currency. Roofr, RoofSnap and Jobber list USD prices, so the bill moves with the exchange rate, and your quotes still need HST, or GST and PST, set up correctly. Test a real quote with your province’s tax in the trial.

Which roofing software should you pick?

A solo roofer or two-person repair crewContruva or Jobber Core
A small residential crew losing jobs to missed calls and slow quotesContruva

A storm restoration company with reps, supplements and commissionsAccuLynx Elite or JobNimbus
A roofer who also does gutters, siding and general exterior repairsContruva or Jobber
A roofer running additions and full builds alongside roofingBuildertrend

Plenty of roofers combine tools: a measurement provider for squares and pitch, and one app for everything from the first call to the final payment. If that sounds like you, try Contruva on your next storm season’s leads. What is the best CRM for roofing companies?

AccuLynx and JobNimbus are the best-known roofing CRMs for sales teams and insurance work. Smaller retail roofers often get more from an all-in-one app like Contruva that combines the CRM with call answering, quotes and payments.

How much does roofing software cost?

Published prices range from free (Roofr Starter) to several hundred US dollars a month, and AccuLynx, JobNimbus and Buildertrend only quote through sales. Count every user and add-on before comparing.

Is there free roofing software?

Roofr has a $0 Starter plan with pay-per-report measurements and trial-only proposals. Most others, including Contruva, offer a free trial instead of a free plan.

Does Contruva do roof measurements?

No. Contruva doesn’t order aerial or drone measurement reports. Many roofers keep a measurement provider, attach the report to the job and build the quote in Contruva.

Is AccuLynx or JobNimbus better?

Both are roofing CRMs with quote-based pricing. AccuLynx includes aerial measurement and supplier ordering on both plans and puts supplements and commissions on Elite; JobNimbus is known for flexible boards and automations, with limits that rise by plan.

Can Jobber be used for roofing?

Yes. Jobber handles quotes, scheduling and invoicing well, but it has no measurement reports or insurance tools, so it fits repair and mixed exterior work better than storm restoration.
