The bestJobber alternativesin 2026.

Jobber is a solid scheduling and invoicing tool, but the bill climbs fast once you add users, an AI receptionist and marketing. Here are six alternatives, with prices we checked on each company’s own site in November 2026.

The best Jobber alternatives in 2026 are Contruva (everything, including an AI receptionist and marketing, in one flat price), Housecall Pro, ServiceTitan, Workiz, Tradify and Joist. Which one fits depends on your crew size, whether you need calls answered for you, and how much you want to pay per user.

Below is what each one costs, who it suits and where it falls short. Every price comes from the company’s own pricing page, checked in November 2026. Prices change often, so confirm before you sign anything.

Why contractors look for a Jobber alternative

Jobber does the core job well: quotes, scheduling, invoices and online payments, with a clean mobile app. Most people who leave aren’t unhappy with the basics. They leave because of what happens to the price as the business grows.

  • Per-user pricing. Jobber’s plans are priced by team size, and its pricing page lists extra users at $29 USD/month each.
  • Add-ons for the growth tools. On Core, Connect and Grow, the AI Receptionist, Marketing Suite (which holds review requests) and Pipeline are paid add-ons. They’re only bundled in the top Plus plan.
  • Features locked to higher tiers. Job costing, two-way texting and custom automations start at Grow. Automated quote and invoice follow-ups start at Connect.
  • Commitment terms. The cheapest monthly rates need a 1-year commitment or an annual prepayment, and Jobber’s FAQ says the annual payment is non-refundable.
  • USD pricing. Jobber’s pricing page lists every plan in US dollars, which matters if you bill in Canadian dollars.

Reviewers on sites like Capterra and Spotsaas raise the same themes: the price climbing as users and add-ons stack up, and quotes and invoices that are hard to customize. Plenty of reviewers also praise Jobber’s scheduling and ease of use, which is fair.

What Jobber costs in 2026

Jobber has four plans. All prices below are in USD per month as listed on getjobber.com/pricing (checked November 2026). The first number is the no-commitment monthly rate, then the 1-year commitment rate, then the annual prepaid rate.

Jobber planUsers includedNo commitment1-year commitmentAnnual prepaid
Core1$49$39$29
Connect1$139$119$99
Grow1$199$169$149
Grow5$299$259$229
Plus5$499$439$399

Add-ons are listed at $99/month for Marketing Suite, $49/month for Pipeline and $29/month for the AI Receptionist. Jobber’s help centre says the Receptionist add-on includes 100 conversations a month. Extra users are $29/month each.

Worked example

A five-person crew on Grow, paying monthly with no commitment, that adds the AI Receptionist and Marketing Suite pays $299 + $29 + $99 = $427 USD a month. Moving to Plus to get those bundled is $499 USD a month with no commitment.

The 6 best Jobber alternatives

1. Contruva: best all-in-one with AI that does the work

Who it suits: trades businesses of any size, from owner-operators to multi-crew contractors, who want the website, phones, quotes, scheduling, payments and marketing in one app instead of a base plan plus add-ons. Built in Canada, priced in Canadian dollars.

Pricing: one plan, Contruva Pro, at $249.99 CAD/month. No per-seat pricing, no tiers and no add-ons. 7-day free trial, no credit card.

Pros: the AI receptionist that answers and books calls, one inbox for calls, texts, email and Facebook and Instagram messages, an AI-built website that adds SEO pages every week, quotes with e-signature, crew app with clock-in, job costing, review requests and social, ads and email marketing are all included. You can also text Contruva AI to chase invoices, follow up on quotes or post to social. Card payments run through Stripe with no extra Contruva fee.

Cons: there’s no cheap starter tier, so a solo contractor who only needs invoices will pay for more than they use. The trial is 7 days, shorter than Jobber’s 14. It isn’t accounting software, so you’ll still want your bookkeeping tool and accountant.

2. Housecall Pro: best for US home-service teams wanting financing

Who it suits: home-service businesses like HVAC, plumbing and cleaning, especially ones that want consumer financing and a Spanish-language app.

Pricing (USD, checked November 2026): Basic $59/month billed annually or $79 monthly with 1 user; Essentials $149 annually or $189 monthly with 5 users; Max $299 annually or $329 monthly with 8 users, plus $35/month per extra user on Max.

Pros: job costing and review management are listed on the Basic plan. Housecall Pro’s FAQ says there are no long-term contracts. The app is available in English and Spanish.

Cons: CSR AI (its call answering), Websites and Pipeline are listed as add-ons with no published price, so you have to ask sales. GPS tracking and QuickBooks Online sync start at Essentials. Our full Housecall Pro alternatives guide goes deeper.

3. ServiceTitan: best for large HVAC, plumbing and electrical shops

Who it suits: larger residential and commercial service companies with dispatchers, a call centre and many technicians.

Pricing: ServiceTitan’s pricing page describes per-technician pricing across three packages (Starter, Essentials and The Works) and asks you to request pricing for each. No prices are published.

Pros: deep dispatching, call booking, pricebook, memberships, payroll and reporting, plus a long list of “Pro” products.

Cons: no public pricing, and per-technician billing means the cost grows with every hire. It’s a big system for a small crew. See our ServiceTitan alternatives page.

4. Workiz: best for phone-heavy service businesses

Who it suits: service companies that live on the phone and want a built-in phone system with call tracking.

Pricing: Standard, Pro and Ultimate are all “Request pricing” on workiz.com (checked November 2026). Genius Answering (AI call and message answering in English, Spanish and French), Genius Phone and Genius Marketing are sold separately.

Pros: integrated phone system, ad and call tracking, QuickBooks integration on every plan.

Cons: no published prices. Automations are capped by tier (5, 10 or 30). Multi-day jobs, flat-rate pricing and sales proposals are Ultimate-only, which matters for renovators and roofers. More in our Workiz alternatives guide.

5. Tradify: best for small trade teams that live in Xero or QuickBooks

Who it suits: electricians, plumbers and HVAC contractors with a handful of users who want job management that syncs with their accounting software.

Pricing (USD per user per month, checked November 2026): Lite $47, Pro $51, Plus $61. Instant Website is a $12/month add-on. Custom pricing for large teams.

Pros: Xero and QuickBooks Online sync on every plan, timesheets and job costing on Pro, a 14-day trial with all features.

Cons: it’s priced per user, so five users on Pro is $255 USD/month. The AI SmartTools are Plus-only. We didn’t see an AI receptionist or social and ad marketing on its pricing page.

6. Joist: best for solo contractors who mainly need estimates

Who it suits: owner-operators and part-timers whose main need is fast estimates and invoices from a phone.

Pricing (checked November 2026, no currency stated on the page): Basics $12/month (5 documents a month), Pro $17, Elite $32, and Run $100/month listed at an introductory $70. An AI Receptionist add-on is listed from $49/month. 14-day trial, no credit card.

Pros: very low entry price, homeowner financing, QuickBooks sync, simple to learn.

Cons: scheduling and job organization only come with the Run plan, and change orders and reporting start at Elite. Once you add Run and the receptionist, it’s no longer the cheap option.

How to choose the right one

Don’t start with features. Start with what’s costing you jobs right now, then price the plan that actually fixes it, add-ons included.

  • Count your users for next year, not today. If you’ll add two techs, price the plan at that size.
  • List what you pay for outside your job software. Answering service, website, review tool, social scheduler. An all-in-one only saves money if it replaces those.
  • Check missed calls. If calls go to voicemail every day, AI call answering is worth more than any scheduling feature. Read speed to lead for contractors for why.
  • Check currency and terms. USD pricing, annual prepayment and 12-month commitments all change the real cost.
  • Test with real jobs. Send a real quote, book a real visit, take a real payment during the trial.
Ask every vendor

“What will I pay per month with five users, call answering, review requests and a website, including every add-on, and is there a commitment?” If they can’t answer in one number, that tells you something.

How to switch without losing a week

Day 1
Export from Jobber.

Export your client list, and download open quotes and unpaid invoices so nothing slips during the move.

Day 2
Set up the new tool.

Import clients, add your services and prices, and connect payments.

Day 3
Run both in parallel.

Book new work in the new tool. Finish jobs already in progress where they started.

Week 2
Move the phones and website.

Point your number and website forms at the new system once you trust it.

Renewal
Cancel the old plan.

Check your commitment term first. Jobber’s FAQ says 1-year commitments keep billing until the term ends.
