ServiceTitan pricing:what it really costsin 2026.

ServiceTitan doesn’t publish a price. Here’s what its own pricing page and annual report do say, what third-party estimates put it at, and the questions to ask before you sign.

ServiceTitan pricing isn’t published. Its pricing page lists three plans (Starter, Essentials and The Works) with a “Request Pricing” button instead of a number, and says pricing is per technician. Third-party estimates we found in November 2026 commonly put it around $245 to $500 USD per technician per month, plus a one-time implementation fee.

Treat those figures as estimates, not quotes. Below is what ServiceTitan confirms in its own materials, what independent sites estimate, and how to work out your real cost before you sign.

How much does ServiceTitan cost?

The honest answer is: it depends on how many technicians you have, which plan you pick, which add-ons you take, and the contract term you agree to. ServiceTitan sells through a sales team and quotes each business.

What each ServiceTitan plan includes

From ServiceTitan’s pricing page, checked November 2026:

  • Starter: dispatching, scheduling, call booking, invoicing and pricebook. ServiceTitan calls it “the must-have tools for your business.”
  • Essentials: everything in Starter plus mobile estimates and payroll management.
  • The Works: the full suite, adding configurable payroll, advanced reporting, commission tracking and customizable memberships.

Advanced reporting, commission tracking and memberships appear to be held back for the top plan, so if those are why you’re looking at ServiceTitan, price The Works, not Starter.

How ServiceTitan charges

ServiceTitan is a public company, so its annual report (Form 10-K for the fiscal year ended January 31, 2026) explains the model in plain terms. Core platform fees are generally based on the number of field technicians. Customers are generally billed monthly in advance, whatever the contract term. Professional services, mainly onboarding and training, are generally invoiced separately when the contract starts. Some Pro products are billed by usage.

The same report says ServiceTitan had about 10,800 “Active Customers”, defined as customers with over $10,000 of annualized billings. That tells you the size of business it’s built and measured around.

Worked example

These are illustrative numbers using the third-party range, not a quote. A shop with 4 technicians at $300 per tech is $1,200 a month, or $14,400 a year, before add-ons. Add a $10,000 implementation fee and year one is about $24,400 USD.

Third-party price estimates

Because there’s no list price, every number online is an estimate. The figures we found were broadly consistent:

PlanEstimated per technician per month (USD)
StarterAbout $245–$300
EssentialsAbout $300–$400
The WorksAbout $400–$500

Your quote can land anywhere in or outside these ranges depending on size, term and negotiation, so ask for everything in writing.

Add-ons and other costs

ServiceTitan’s pricing page lists a set of “Pro” products on top of the core plans, with no prices shown: AI Virtual Agent, Marketing Pro, Contact Center Pro, Pricebook Pro, Fleet Pro, Scheduling Pro, Dispatch Pro and Field Pro. If you want AI call answering or marketing tools, budget for them separately.

  • Pro add-ons, some billed by usage
  • Onboarding and training, invoiced at the start
  • Card processing fees on payments you collect
  • Time: your office team learning and setting up the system

The last one is real money too. On Capterra and G2, the most common complaint theme we saw was a steep learning curve, with price and add-on costs close behind.

What year one could cost

To make the estimates useful, here’s how they play out for three shop sizes. These are illustrative calculations using the low and high ends of the third-party ranges above ($245 and $500 USD per technician per month, $5,000 and $50,000 USD implementation). They are not quotes, and they leave out Pro add-ons and card processing.

Shop sizeSubscription per year (estimate)Plus implementation (estimate)Year one range (estimate)
2 technicians$5,880–$12,000$5,000+About $10,900 and up
5 technicians$14,700–$30,000$5,000–$50,000About $19,700–$80,000
15 technicians$44,100–$90,000$5,000–$50,000About $49,100–$140,000

The spread is wide because the inputs are estimates, and that’s the point: you can’t budget ServiceTitan from a website. You need a written quote. Small shops are also unlikely to see the top implementation figures, which tend to be reported for bigger, more complex setups.

Compare that with a flat plan. Contruva is $249.99 CAD a month whether you have two people or fifteen, which is about $3,000 CAD a year before card processing, with the AI receptionist, website and marketing tools included. The trade-off is that Contruva doesn’t do payroll, technician commissions or membership programs, so a large shop that runs on those should still get the ServiceTitan quote.

Before you compare

Line every quote up the same way: subscription for your real headcount, every add-on you need, one-time setup, and the total over the full contract term. Monthly price alone hides most of the difference.

Contract terms

ServiceTitan’s annual report says contract terms typically range from 12 to 36 months, with some Pro product and legacy customers on month-to-month. It says contracts, whether monthly, annual or multi-year, renew automatically unless cancelled in advance. Some reviewers on Capterra describe frustration trying to cancel before the term ended, so read the renewal and cancellation clauses closely.

Is ServiceTitan worth it?

For a large HVAC, plumbing or electrical company with many trucks, a dispatcher, a call centre, membership plans and technician commissions, it can be. That’s who it’s built for, and its depth in reporting and pricebook management is the reason big shops pay for it.

For a crew of one to ten where the owner still quotes jobs from the truck, it’s usually more system than you need. You pay per tech, wait through implementation and still add modules for answering calls and marketing. Most small contractors get more from a tool that’s live in a day and answers the phone for them.

Questions to ask on the sales call

1
What’s the per-tech price on each plan?

Ask for all three plans side by side, not just the one the rep recommends.

2
Who counts as a technician?

Ask whether apprentices, part-timers, office staff and seasonal workers count toward the bill.

3
What will implementation cost?

Get the onboarding and training fee in writing, with what’s included and how long it takes.

4
Which Pro add-ons will I need?

If you want AI call answering, marketing or call-centre tools, get those prices before you sign.

5
What’s the term and how does it renew?

Ask about the minimum term, the auto-renewal notice period and what happens if you cut technicians mid-term.

6
Can I get a trial or a pilot?

If there’s no free trial, ask for a reference customer your size in your trade, and talk to them before you commit.

Write the answers down and put them next to each alternative’s published price. If a rep won’t put numbers in writing, treat that as an answer too. A tool you can’t price is a tool you can’t budget for, especially in a slow season when every monthly cost gets a second look.
