The best Workiz alternatives in 2026 are Contruva, Jobber, Housecall Pro, Service Fusion, Tradify and, for big shops, ServiceTitan. Most of them publish their prices, which Workiz no longer does, and several include call answering or marketing that Workiz sells as add-ons.
The right pick depends on what you want Workiz to do that it isn’t. If it’s cost clarity, look at tools with flat or published pricing. If it’s the phone, look at a receptionist that books jobs into your calendar. All prices below were checked on each company’s own site in November 2026.
Why contractors look for Workiz alternatives
- No public price. When we checked Workiz’s pricing page in November 2026, all three plans (Standard, Pro and Ultimate) showed “Request pricing”. Pricing trackers recorded Workiz moving to quote-only pricing during 2026.
- Key tools are add-ons. Genius Phone, Genius Answering and Genius Marketing are listed as sold separately, with no prices shown.
- Features split by tier. Standard has 5 automations, Pro 10 and Ultimate 30. Checklists, service plans, inventory, multi-day jobs and the open API are Ultimate-only.
- Review themes. On G2, the most-mentioned cons we saw for Workiz were customization difficulties and pricing. Plenty of reviewers praise its support and ease of use too.

Jobber’s figure gets cheaper with a one-year commitment or annual billing, and Housecall Pro’s with annual billing. Contruva’s price is in Canadian dollars and doesn’t change with headcount. Add marketing tools (Jobber’s Marketing Suite is another $99 USD) and the gap widens.

Where Workiz still does well
Workiz is a reasonable fit if you want a phone system and field software from one vendor and you have bilingual callers: it says Genius Answering handles calls and messages in English, Spanish and French. Ultimate also packs in inventory, purchase orders, equipment tracking and franchise management, which some multi-location businesses need. If those are core to how you work and the quote you get makes sense, staying put is fine.
If you’re leaving because you can’t predict the bill, or because the phone tools cost extra, the options above are easier to budget.
How to switch without losing jobs
Pull customers, open jobs, unpaid invoices and price lists out of Workiz. Check your renewal date and notice period first.
Import customers and your price list, connect payments and send one real quote and one real invoice.
Point your business number or call forwarding at the new receptionist. Test it with three calls: a booking, a price question, an emergency.
Book new jobs only in the new tool, finish open Workiz jobs, then cancel once the last invoice is paid.
Move the phone last, not first. A missed call during a switch costs more than a week of overlapping subscriptions.
If the phone is why you went with Workiz, see how the Contruva AI receptionist books jobs straight into your calendar, then follow up with our guide on following up on quotes without being pushy. Everything is in one plan, free for 7 days.
